All Levels Yoga with Christine Schieberle

This yoga class is designed to encourage curiosity and help each student to be free to explore her or his own potential and possibilities.  This All levels class is suitable for a mix of beginners to intermediate level students with individuals working at their own level.  This class will guide you into gentle openings, through strengthening poses that allow you to safely come to know your own "edges".  It will also lead you into quiet observations of breath and deepened meditative awareness.  The focus in this class is on building inner strength and stability, so that we have the knowledge, freedom and courage to be kind to ourselves and to others.

Hatha Yoga

Ages: All Ages; Level: All Levels; Style: Drop-in

Hatha Yoga uses postures (asanas) and stretches in combination with the breath to develop flexibility and relaxation. There are many styles of Hatha Yoga.  Some use a specific series of postures; others use a flow of movements, while some may use props such as blocks or belts to assist a posture or maximize a stretch.  All styles of Hatha Yoga, however, encourage proper alignment of the body and bring balance, strength, and calmness to the practitioner.  Our unique Hatha Yoga class encourages a style that flows and it integrates breath, asanas and traditional elements to bring balance and strength to the mind, body and spirit.  Learn about alignment, classic postures and the ancient art of pranayama.

Yoga: Any Shape, Any Size with Bonny Ziegler

Morning Yoga with Bonny Ziegler

Morning Yoga leaves you balanced, refreshed and ready to start your day. This all levels class will explore Pranayama (breathing exercises), Meditation and different forms of Sun Salutations, from restorative to challenging. Each class will focus on one of the poses with plenty of modifications given for beginners. You will feel completely stretched out and ready to go.

Yoga: All Levels with Cheryl Gray

This class is suited for practitioners that attend or have attended regular classes.  Alignment and core strength will be a focus preparing for inversions and backbends. Ideal class for those wanting start their home practice and deepen understanding of yoga asana.

Open to all levels, this class will be an exploration of basic yoga poses, connecting them through attention to breathing, alignment and mindfulness. You will learn techniques to help you gain flexibility, moving at a slower pace, and allowing ample time to enjoy each pose.  Learn to use props, safe alignment techniques and boost energy while relaxing your mind.

No Sweat Stretch with Paul

Description: Using principles of anatomy and physiology, this class will guide you through sequences of stretching and light movement which is intended to work individual muscles and muscle groups for a complete whole body stretch.  It will also incorporate joint movement techniques to help facilitate movement in a holistic way.  This class is designed with injury rehabilitation and prevention in mind and all the techniques taught will encourage students to gain the knowledge to assist them in easily incorporating what is learned into their daily lives.  The stretches and techniques will be adaptable to suit all levels of mobility and all ages and levels will find the techniques effective for a variety of individual needs.

HardCORE Yoga with Bronwen

Description: This class will contain a vigorous selection of both traditional and non-traditional yoga sequences that will draw upon inner strength to balance the CORE of our bodies, minds, emotions and spirit.  You will move, balance, twist, jump, invert, stretch, sweat, throw possible profanities and most importantly, BREATHE!  This is a no Om zone and the playlist will include contemporary music that does not include pan flutes or didgeridoos.  This class is power packed, short & SWEAT… That’s right, the challenging yet light atmosphere will keep you in it to win it and begging for more!

Yin Yoga

Description:Yin Yoga is a deep restorative form of yoga. Yin is a wonderful balance for those who practice a more vigorous style of yoga, those looking to increase their range of motion and those who seek a more meditative yoga experience. Long, meditative holds target deep connective tissues of the body with an emphasis on the hips, pelvis, spine and shoulders to release tension throughout the entire body, helping to create structural and mental balance.

Yin/Yang Yoga

Description:Combined with the more active yang postures, this class offers the benefits of strength building and lovely quiet and longer held postures to create a holistic, body-balancing experience. The class will invite you to move deeper into your body as you mindfully flow with your breath to feel all the magnificent sensations your body creates.

Yoga Flow

Description:This class will utilize flowing sequences and the breath to connect poses in a steady, dynamic practice. This class will open with a meditation and include Sun Salutations, breathing exercises, and various postures to promote strength, balance and flexibility. This class is open to All Levels, though some yoga experience is recommended.

Beginners Yoga with Bonny Ziegler
Ages: Adults
Level: All Levels, especially Beginners!
Style: Drop-in

Description: This class is ideal for individuals who have never taken a yoga class, have health related issues, are healing from injury or illness or wanting to deepen their practice. Focus is on breath awareness, reducing muscle tension through slow stretching, joint health, increased range of motion, and improvements of muscle ability to perform. Warm ups with simple yogic stretches and a gentler pace will utilize yoga props, and a close interaction with the teacher helping students learn to heal the body and improve overall health and well being.  Appropriate variations are given to students depending on their needs and ability. Each class ends with a quiet relaxation. 

Restorative Yoga
Ages: Adults
Level: All Levels
Style: Drop-in

Description: Preparatory exercises combined with beginner breathing techniques leading into introductory poses.  Detailed alignments are given throughout the class offering safe conditioning to beginners and to deepen connections for the experienced practitioner.

Description:  This morning flow yoga class will help to start your day off right!  It will include a deep connection to breathe and an alignment based approach to movement as we prepare the body and mind for the day.  We will explore a variety of preparations using props and then we will go deeper with integrity into a number of postures.  The class will finish with a short relaxation and the setting of a positive intention to begin and move throughout your day.  This class will surely get your day flowing in the right direction...

Chair Yoga with Bonny Ziegler

Chair Yoga is a unique yoga style that adapts yoga positions and poses through creative use of a chair. The chair replaces the yoga mat and becomes an extension of the body. The student is able to warm up the body safely and perform yoga poses with more support and stability. Poses are done seated on the chair or the chair is used for support during standing poses, forward and backward bends, side extensions, balancing and leg and arm stretches. Chair yoga is suitable for all ages, fitness levels and physical conditions. By request
