Yoga – Beginners/All Levels

Ages: All Ages

Level: Beginners/All levels (Suitable for Beginners and Intermediates with the Individual working at their own level)

Style:Drop-in


Description: Hatha Yoga uses postures (Asanas) and stretches in combination with the breath to develop flexibility and relaxation. There are many styles of Hatha Yoga. Some use a specific series of postures, others use a flow of movements, while some may use props such as blocks or belts to assist a posture or maximize a stretch. All styles of Hatha Yoga, however, encourage proper alignment of the body and bring balance, strength and calmness to the practitioner. Our unique Hatha Yoga classes encourages a style that flows and it integrates breath, Asanas and traditional elements to bring balance and strength to the mind, body and spirit.



Yoga - Restorative

Ages: All Ages

Level: All levels
(Geared towards those recovering from injury or illness)

Style:Drop-in


Description: This practice is designed to restore the nervous system and help release deeply held tensions from the body and mind. The class will use props to support the postures, while gently stretching and strengthening the body. This class is appropriate for students of all levels, but is geared towards those recovering from injury or illness. Further, this class is done with minimal to no 'weight bearing' poses and a variety of modifications are offered to ensure that everyone can enjoy the benefits of the class.



Yoga – Any Shape Any Size

Ages: All Ages

Level: All levels (Suitable for Beginners and Intermediates with the Individual working at their own level)

Style:Drop-in


Description: In addition to the Hatha Yoga description above, this class encourages the belief that yoga is made for everyone and can benefit all people at any age. Sometimes people feel that a particular activity is not for them as a result of how society has stereotyped a group of people. This class promotes a positive atmosphere that all people should attend and give yoga a try: men, women, varieties of body types, those with injuries and more. You are welcome to discover how the benefits of yoga will improve your mind, body and spirit balance. If you've ever thought that perhaps yoga was not for you, this is the class for YOU!
